An opportunity has arisen at our Mells works to join the Operations Team as a Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a team player who is practical, with an eye for detail and looking for a challenging role within a mechanical and engineering workplace. Health and Safety is a key part of this position, together with a flexible approach to working on a 6.00 – 17.00 shift that includes 2.75 hours overtime per day. Weekend work will be expected as and when required.
The successful person must have a strong understand of hydraulics and the ability to fault find in a timely manner, be able to under and interpret hydraulic schematic drawings and the ability to weld using manual Arc and fabrication skills would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who has served an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, is electrically dual-skilled and has an IOSH Health and Safety qualification, although training can be given.
